The builder’s board has decided to offload Hyundai Finance and Hyundai Venture Investment “as part of a proposed management improvement plan”.
“With the decision to dispose of all of its financial arms including Hyundai Futures, Hi Asset Management and Hi Investment & Securities, Hyundai will accelerate its business re-organisation efforts with much more focus on its core businesses,” it said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday.
