Rene Raaijmakers, executive director of sales at Royal IHC Offshore, said the recent drop in oil prices is not likely to torpedo demand for sophisticated new DSVs, with IHC delivering the vessels and Draeger providing the saturation diving systems.
"There are a number of parties now considering tendering for DSVs," he told Upstream at the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston on Tuesday.
