Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday led an Indian delegation in selling to London’s investment community a round that sees 67 fields put up for grabs over 46 contract areas, spread across nine sedimentary basins – both onshore and offshore.
Before the UK capital, the roadshow visited Houston, Calgary, Dubai and last week Singapore. The Indian cities of New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Guwahati were also on the list of destinations as the government showcases a new revenue-sharing model, which is a move away from previous production sharing contracts.
