The main power generators have been started on both the central processing facility and the floating production, storage and offloading facility at yards in South Korea, where they are being constructed.
Inpex revealed the three generators on the CPF, run by 25 megawatt dual-fuel gas turbines, started last week at Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard in Geoje, while the FPSO’s main turbo-generators were fired up at the end of July at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering yard in Okpo.
