The move follows WorleyParsons’ takeover of Intec in April this year to add the Houston-based company’s expertise in subsea systems to its own experience in building floating production systems.
The new company will combine both companies’ deep-water, subsea, pipeline and floating production capabilities into a single entity to provide consulting, engineering and project management services, a statement said.
Intec specialises in subsea production, risers, pipelines and floating production, storage and offloading vessels, particularly in deep-water and harsh environments.
