Iraq aims to 'triple southern fields' output'

Iraq's state-owned South Oil Company aims to almost triple output from its southern oilfields to 6 million barrels per day in the next three years, as a $1 billion oilfield services deal with Samsung Engineering for the giant West Qurna 2 field was signed on Thursday, according to reports.
