Calgary-based Jura, which holds a 27.5% interest in the tract operated by PEL, said in a statement a find had apparently been made with the Aminah-1 well but the operator had not provided test results or other drilling data.
It stated that PEL has initiated proceedings with the Pakistan government to secure the forfeiture of Jura’s stake in the block on the grounds the latter has allegedly failed to meet a cash call under their partnership pact.
