The company said it had successfully implemented $165 million of $200 million in cost cuts planned for 2016, part of a corporate revamp that kicked off two years ago.
KBR posted net income of $42 million on revenue of $1.1 billion for the three months to December. That compared to a loss of $1.2 billion on $1.4 billion in revenue during the year-ago period.
