The $100 million stock and asset purchase agreement covers Cameron's Letourneau jack-up rig designs, including the Letourneau Super 116E, Workhorse, Super Gorilla XL and Jaguar designs.
It means Keppel will now be able to offer the rig designs through its own yards or through the sale of rig kits to shipyards which will include jack-up leg components, elevating units and jacking systems, as well as cantilever and skidding systems.
