The Singapore-based fabricator’s wholly-owned subsidiary Keppel Shipyard has secured the award from Armada Madura EPC, a joint venture of Bumi Armada and Shapoorji Pallonji Group, as part of a S$125 million ($89.3 million) contract haul that also includes three repair, upgrade and modification deals.
It follows the award late last year of a $1.18 billion contract to Malaysia’s Bumi Armada to supply a leased FPSO for the BD field project under the Madura Strait production sharing contract run by co-venturers Husky Energy and China National Offshore Oil Corporation.
