The yard giant has also reiterated that it has a “zero-tolerance stance” on bribery and corruption as it sought to counter moves made by Brazilian authorities on Monday looking into Keppel’s contractual relations with state oil giant Petrobras and local yard Sete Brasil.
As part of those legal moves, which are also part of the wider Operation Car Wash investigation into historical corruption at Petrobras and some of its contractors, an agent of Keppel’s in Brazil, Zwi Skornicki, was reportedly arrested.
