The joint venture between WorleyParsons, Fluor, the Kazakh Institute of Oil & Gas and KazGiproNefteTrans Engineering, known as KPJV, has been awarded the work on the future growth project and wellhead pressure management project at the Tengiz field.
The future growth project will use sour gas injection technology to maximise the output capacity of the field to about 42 million tonnes of oil per annum.
