KrisEnergy revealed Monday Thailand's Department of Mineral Fuels had approved its production area application for the 87.7 square kilometre area that contains the Rossukon oilfield.
The Rossukon discovery was made in 2009 and the approval comes after the company drilled two exploration wells and two sidetracks in the Rossukon area in the first half of 2015, with each of the wells hitting oil and gas.
