The company posted a profit for the quarter of US$9.3 million, bouncing back from last year's third quarter loss of US$10 million.
Helping lift the company back into the black was a $26.8 million gain which it attributed to the recognition of a gain on the transfer of working interests in Block 105 in Vietnam and the Tanjung Aru production sharing contract in Indonesia.
