Ezra revealed Friday Adarash Kumar would step down as chief operating officer and take on the top role at Emas with immediate effect.
The move comes as Emas' previous chief executive Jon Dunstan resigned to “pursue other interests outside the company”, however he will remain with the company until February 2016 to assist Kumar during the handover.
Ezra chairman Koh Poh Tiong said Kumar's more than 25 years experience in the offshore industry would be a valuable asset for the company's Emas subsidiary.
