The deal will see Kvaerner carry out all modifications and projects on the Nyhamna gas plant facility, including upgrades carried out as the facility expands to take gas from new fields such as Linnorm and Aasta Hansteen.
Kvaerner said the activity at the facility, which processes natural gas from the Ormen Lange gas field in the More basin offshore Norway, would expand over the next five to ten years.
