Woodside and the North West Shelf project partners were expected to make a final investment decision on Lambert Deep in the first half of the year following the completion of front-end engineering and design work.
However, Woodside revealed in its second quarter report on Thursday the participants had decided to defer the project following the completion of the FEED work.
