The workscope of the award from Norwegian rig owner Master Marine’s wholly owned subsidiary Jacktel covers procurement, construction and installation of extended legs and and new suction caissons on the unit.
Fabrication of the new leg sections and suction caissons will be carried out at Lamprell’s Hamriyah yard in the United Arab Emirates.
The components will then be transported to Norway for final assembly and installation on the unit at the Coast Center Base near Bergen, which will provide logistical support.
