The work scope of the contract involves the conversion of the jack-up MOS Frontier into an accommodation support vessel capable of housing 290 personnel.
Lamprell said it will execute the project at its facility in Sharjah, near Dubai in the UAE.
MOS Frontier is a multi-purpose jack-up rig capable of operating in water depths of up to 300 feet.
MOS purchased the rig from an offshore drilling company in April 2013 for $25 million.
