Project partner AWE told the Australian Securities Exchange on Tuesday a second drill stem test (DST) yielded a peak gas flow rate of 21.2 million cubic feet per day, up almost five-fold from the 4.5 mmcfd recorded during initial testing earlier in the month.
AWE said two further cores were cut from an interval between 757 metres to 784 metres, recovering an estimated 24 metres of carbonate Kujung 1 reservoir formation.
