The vessel is the second production floater to be added to the fleet of Singapore’s Emas Production and is currently being towed to location by the Lewek Fulmar anchor handling tug vessel.
The hook-up and commissioning of Lewek Emas will be carried out by the newbuild DP3 construction vessel, Lewek Crusader over the next two months.
Lewek Emas was converted from the 170,000-dwt Suezmax tanker Denali at Singapore’s Keppel Shipyard.
