The Denver-based operator snapped up 500 net acres in Winkler County for $3 million under a bankruptcy sale from an unidentified former owner.
The assets include a 78% working interest in one producing vertical well that holds a lease to all levels on the play, including the Wolfcamp, Bone Psring and Avalon formations. Current production from the well is 690,000 cubic feet per day of gas.
