The company has, however, denied a report that a deal has already been struck to shed the assets – which Linc refers to as Sapex - in South Australia.
One report indicated that the company had reached a US$100 million deal with an Australian company with Asian financial backers to sell it shale oil assets in the Arckaringa basin.
However, Linc issued a rebuttal, saying it has “not entered into a binding agreement to sell its Sapex assets at this time”.
