According to sources, Dutch player OOS International edged out the competition by offering a CR600-design vessel for a dayrate of $148,300.
The unit is said to be under construction in China at a CIMC Raffles shipyard in the city of Yantai, and is expected to become available for operations in the beginning of the second quarter of 2017.
Singapore-based PACC Offshore Services (Posh) finished in a close second place with the semi-submersible flotel Posh Xanadu for a dayrate of $154,600.
