The company generated A$79.9 million (US$70.8 million) over the recent quarter, down 13% on the A$91.5 million booked in the June quarter.

Hitting revenues was a 9% drop in output which totalled roughly 749,600 barrels of oil equivalent, down from 824,300 boe in the prior quarter.

Drillsearch attributed the lower production figures to a fall in output from its assets on the western flank of Australia's Cooper basin.
