The Pakistani player and its partner in the Karak block struck oil, gas and condensate at the Kalabagh-1A ST1 well, MOL said.
The well was spudded in March and drilled to a total depth of 3003 metres.
It was tested and flowed 618 barrels of oil equivalent per day of gas and 618 barrels per day of condensate from the Datta formation.
