The London-listed junior said on Wednesday it had received final regulatory approval by Kazakhstan’s oil and gas ministry for a two-year extension on the exploration period of Blocks A&E.
Immediately following this, the company began placing four wells in the Asanketken field in Block E onto trial production.
It also planned to immediately return the BCHW-1 well in the Baichonas field on the block to test production.
