McClendon investor settles Chesapeake suit

One of the largest investors in Aubrey McClendon's Utica shale-focused venture has reached a settlement with Chesapeake Energy to extricate itself from a lawsuit the Oklahoma-based producer has filed against its former chief executive alleging stolen trade secrets.
