McDermott's Lay Vessel North Ocean 105 completed the one-well subsea tie-back from the Otis gas discovery in Mississippi Canyon Block 79 to the Delta House semi-submersible floating production system, located in MC 254 about 130 miles (208 kilometres) south-east of New Orleans.
Water depths ranged from 3861 feet to 4420 feet, McDermott said.
McDermott's work scope consisted of project management, engineering, and installation of 70,000 feet of insulated rigid flowline and insulated steel catenary riser as well as a control umbilical, PLEM jumper and associated flying leads.
