The DLV 2000's first job will be at the Inpex Ichthys liquefaction project, where it will install large subsea spools, lay infield umbilicals and lift several subsea distribution units. The units provide hydraulic, chemical and electrical distribution from the umbilicals to the subsea drill centres.
The DNV 2000 will work alongside McDermott's other new subsea installation vessel, the Construction Support Vessel 108 (CSV 108) which is already at work on the project.
