The Lombok survey will see the company gather 1800 kilometres of 2D data north-east of Bali, while the East Sulawesi survey will cover 1000 kilometres.

The surveys are due to kick off during the first half of December and are expected to take 60 days to complete using the Nordic Bahari seismic vessel.

MCG said both shoots were supported by industry funding, adding that it was working to secure pre-funding for a third project within the same region.
