Mermaid did not name the client which awarded the potential $5.8 million contract, saying only that they were a national offshore engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning company with large-scale projects internationally.
Under the one-year contract Mermaid will provide subsea personnel to support subsea inspection, repair, maintenance and installation works in brown and green field projects over several countries in Asia and the Middle East.
