Thailand-based Mermaid Maritime is looking into acquiring oil and gas industry businesses in the next five years, according to chief executive Chalermchai Mahagitsiri.
This includes businesses in the subsea and drilling sectors such as equipment and personnel-related companies that have "track records in the countries that Mermaid Maritime is looking to secure charters in", Chalermchai said at a briefing alongside OSEA2014.
