The dozens of players reflected regulators’ goals of drawing in Mexican companies new to the industry to develop the 25 onshore mature-field blocks on offer in the north, central and southern regions.
Offers will be presented 15 December in Mexico City.
Longtime onshore players in the market registered, including domestic oil and gas companies Diavaz and Grupo R, Egypt’s Cheiron Holdings, Argentina’s Tecpetrol and US independent Lewis Energy.
