Mexico's Energy Secretariat has unveiled a revised five-year plan to standardise the country's oil and gas bid rounds going forward, a schedule to include a second offering for deep-water blocks and the first for unconventionals this December.
Starting in 2018, regulators will hold two rounds per year, one that will incorporate shallow-water and onshore blocks and a second to cover tracts in deep-water and unconventional areas.
