The number of rigs operating offshore in the Middle East in October averaged 54, compared with 47 in September and 44 in October last year, according to data from Baker Hughes.
Lang rig numbers remained the same from month-to-month at 349, also up on the 346 seen in the comparable month a year ago.
This meant the total number of rigs active in the Middle East in October averaged 403, up from 346 in September and 390 in last year’s October.
