Citing a market source which it does not name, Reuters reported the independent exploration and production company was expecting its IPO to be priced at between $16 and $18 per share.

Backed by energy focused private investment company First Reserve, the announced IPO price will value the company at about $853.2 million.

Company stockholders will offer 6 million shares as part of the IPO, while the remaining 18 million shares will come from company capital.
