MOL now sees just 4 million barrels of current recoverable resource potential on the 100%-controlled Akri-Bijeel block following a competent person’s report from Gaffney, Cline & Associates.
“In light of recent well test results that further confirmed greater geological complexity, MOL Group has minimised its investments in the Akri-Bijeel block,” the company said on Tuesday.
The block’s geological potential has been updated after disappointing results at the Bijell-4 and Bijell-6 wells.
