On Tuesday, around 4000 barrels of source water were spilled at Denbury Resources-operated well site in Bowman county.

The release entered a dry creek bed, but it was not immediately clear how clean-up was progressing. The source of the spill is a pipeline leak, according to a release from the North Dakota Department of Health.

A produced water spill was reported Wednesday at a second Denbury-operated site in Stark County.
