U Lynn Myint, the general manager of North Petro-Chem Corporation, told delegates at the OSEA event in Singapore that there will be a rapid growth in the number of offshore discoveries given the amount of planned exploration drilling.
The country had a very successful licensing round in 2013 and, once the production sharing contracts are finalised, will have a total of 16 deep-water blocks and 22 shallow-water permits.
