The company signed a heads of agreement with Shell in January this year that would see the supermajor pursue an integrated gas and liquids development over the project, in licence area AC/L9.
At the time, Upstream reported that the base case development option was for the Crux gas and condensate reserves to become part of the Prelude floating liquefied natural gas project.
