Underwater Integrity Services (UIS), chaired by an ex-Statoil executive and counting five other industry veterans in its ranks, aims to have three acquisitions in the bag by the end of the year, using cash fronted up by Norway’s HitecVision.

Headquartered in Houston and with another office in Aberdeen, UIS will target, in order of priority, the North Sea, Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, South-East Asia and Brazilian markets as an independent company focused on subsea integrity, production assurance and field life extension.
