Nexans in Gullfaks umbilical win

French cable supplier Nexans has scooped a €16 million ($20 million) contract from Statoil to engineer and supply a 16.5-kilometre subsea power umbilical for the Norwegian operator's gas-compression project at its Gullfaks C platform in the North Sea.
