NIOC managing director 'resigns'

There is growing speculation in Tehran over the fate of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) managing director Rokneddin Javadi, who is reported to have resigned from his post two years after being appointed by oil minister Bijan Zanganeh to carry out reforms and oversee post-sanctions expansion of the Islamic Republic's energy sector.
