The Houston-based operator said it netted $402 million in the fourth quarter, with adjusted net income of $156 million.
Chief executive David Stover said that “despite the dramatic commodity price volatility over the last several months, Noble Energy exited 2014 with a substantially increased operational capacity and a solid liquidity position”.
Average sales volumes jumped by 16% in 2014 to 298,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, while fourth quarter sales rose 8% to 315,000 boe per day.
