NorSea will store more than 36,000 sections of 36 and 18-inch pipeline at its Stordbase supply base under the deal worth nearly Nkr80 million ($9.8 million) that also includes transport and offloading to supply vessels carrying pipe to the lay vessel at the field, according to local media reports.
The pipe will ultimately be used to transport oil to the onshore Mongstad facility and gas to the Kaarsto processing plant once the North Sea field is brought on stream at the end of 2019.
