The state pumped more than 1.029 million barrels of oil per day in July, about 2000 more than the 1.027 million it produced in June, according to preliminary figures from the North Dakota Industrial Commission.
Overall, North Dakota produced 31.91 million barrels of oil in July, up from 30.91 million barrels the month before.
