Production from the Bakken tight oil play in North Dakota rose in January by almost 38,000 barrels per day to 980,294 bpd from 942,322 bpd in November.
Natural gas production also increased in January to 1.556 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day from 1.538 bcfpd in December, according to the latest figures from the North Dakota Industrial Commission (NDIC).
