National Oilwell Varco (NOV) has bought Aberdeen-based solids control equipment manufacturer Axiom Process for an undisclosed sum.
A spokesman for Houston-based NOV confirmed the deal closed late last month but declined to reveal the value of the transaction.
Privately-owned Axiom Process employs about 40 people based mainly in north-east Scotland.
“This is a typical bolt-on acquisition that will be part of our wellsite services division, which is in the wellbore technology business segment,” the spokesman said.
