According to a letter to the Texas Workforce Commission, the latest layoffs will take place at NOV's Galena Park, Texas facility and are expected to be permanent. The cuts will happen over a two-week time period beginning on 18 July.
NOV has already cut more than 200 manufacturing jobs in Texas this year. In January, NOV laid off 80 workers in Louisiana.
